The success of my entire site depends not on these commissions, though, or me, but on my readers. Without you, I would not have this site, and you would not have the wonderful information here. These links are simply a means to an end regarding keeping my personal costs at a minimum. I do not make millions of dollars, though, just enough to keep things running comfortably.
