Affiliate Disclosure

You have reached my compensation disclosure for my site, treadmill consumers dot com, which I have decided is important to have on my page.

I was immensely happy when the FTC announced that a unanimous decision to approve new guidelines regarding testimonials and endorsements was initiated. These guidelines cemented the principle that certain connections, because endorsements need to be disclosed to readers. This seemed like the perfect time for me to offer the information regarding disclosing material.

It is both a privilege and an honor to allow my services to be given to you, my readers, at no charge to you.

I really cannot think of it being any other way. However, the world that we live in is one that requires money to work and it is not free to keep my site running and online. Unbeknownst to you until now, however, there are ways that I can be compensated for certain bits of time.

There are many links on my site

While not all of these are a way for me to collect a bit of commission, some of them are.

This is because you use these links to click over and purchase items from an affiliate site connected to mine. This does not happen with all links, but enough so that it makes a positive impact on financial burdens. This happens often enough that I think it is important for me to tell all of you. I want you to know this so that you feel comfortable about coming back, but also to ease your minds regarding questions on how I keep things running. The success of my entire site depends not on these commissions, though, or me, but on my readers. Without you, I would not have this site, and you would not have the wonderful information here. These links are simply a means to an end regarding keeping my personal costs at a minimum. I do not make millions of dollars, though, just enough to keep things running comfortably.

I want you to know that I do receive commission for various affiliate companies.

However, none of these commissions have or ever will change the content or topics you see here. This means I do not cater to those who pay money to me for my links. I also do my utmost best to check in and ensure that the links you click are safe, trustworthy, and viable; there are times when I cannot monitor every link.

This is why it is important for you to take note of any claims, and be sure that you verify information with anybody you buy something from.

I am not related to any of these companies and therefore have no way to revise or rewrite the content on these sites.

I want you all to know that I am incredibly grateful for each of you that clicks to my site and spends time reading it. I look forward to your daily visits, and hope that I can always continue to provide the best content to you at no charge to you.

If you happen to see anything that is contrary to what I have written, or that you feel is odd, please contact me.

I would love to update or fix problems.

Thank you!
